Serious question.
Because either I’m difficult to understand or people are giving me the run around or they’re simply incompetent boobs.
I think it’s a matter of item two because of item three.
Q: Hi there, I trying to do X and I need to know what’s needed for A? And also how I can make finding A easier later?
A: The sky is blue and the grass is green.
Q: What? That wasn’t what I was asking?
A: Thank you, come again.
…
I would need more context to answer that question
So right now… yes

Yup, I added it in later. I re-wrote that post several times and was vague to protect the ignorant.

I dunno if you’re hard to understand or I’m thick! I’m trying to figure out where A came from in a question that started out about X.
Sometimes there’s a shortcicruit between what you say and what someone else hears. Or between brain and mouth on self. Or between ear and brain on listener. It’s a wonder we get anything understood at all!
You could always try Esperanto.

Hehe it’s all by email. The extra frustrating part is that I’ll have to wait until tomorrow morning to get another, potentially unrelated, response.
With A, I can then do X.

To answer your question though, how hard it is to understand depends largely on what X and A are.
Q: Hi there, I trying to do roofing and I need to know what’s needed for weather stripping? And also how I can make finding weather stripping easier later?
X and A are unrelated except vaguely by being construction.
On the other hand:
Q: Hi there, I trying to do some car repairs and I need to know what’s needed for a head gasket on a 2006 Windstar? And also how I can make finding a head gasket for a 2006 Windstar easier later?
That’s clear because X and A are closely related.

Heh. X is upload results to a byzantine test case management system (database) and A is actually being able to find the results afterwards in said system (through their query GUI). Honestly, it’s a logicial issue on their behalf (in the GUI) and could probably be resolved by removing some defaults which don’t make sense to anyone that tests software.
I’ll rant about it more tomorrow before the game.

Ok, yeah, that’s clear enough.
But remember, retards abound.

The saga continues…
It got resolved (or understood at least). It’s a matter of another entry that is taken as a string rather than for its intended meaning.
