Ever get a feeling you’re spending more time dealing with processes than you are spending doing actual work? I’m starting to feel that way.

And so they’re adding another process.

I’m just waiting for them to define a process for wiping your ass. Oh wait, they’d have to develop the process for getting to the washroom first! And how to deal with choosing between taking a piss and a crap.

I can understand management types like them because it helps them get a feel for things but at some point there are just too many and they’re all going to start saying the same thing, “No work is getting done.”

Big surprise there. Sometimes, you just have to trust that the people you’ve hired are doing what they’re supposed to be doing. Of course, as I type that I’m sitting at work blogging…
