The Character
Smaken Dahed was first born some time in the early 1990s in a land called Norrath. This was back when EverQuest, the first one, was THE MMO to be playing.
He started off in the jungles of Cazic-Thule where he proved his worth as a Warrior by clobbering Lizard Men Hatchlings and in short time he was standing at the gates to Cazic-Thule’s home plane, the Plane of Fear. He continued to advance through the planes, but did not get much further than Plane of Nightmare, Disease, Innovation and Justice. A darkness had overcome him and he lost consciousness for years.
When he finally awoke, he found that Norrath had changed. The moon, Luclin, was shattered, the coneheaded Erudites were changed and the world was in turmoil. Worse yet was that he could no longer feel the call of Rallos Zek. He turned to an aspiring leader to follow and discovered Lucan D’Lere was such a man. Cold-hearted and brutal, Lucan had many a vicious task for Smaken…
The Me
The player behind the character and author of this blog was born in 1975 on a planet called Earth. He lives a simple life of a software tester for a large corporation and is a proud father of two young boys, ages 6 and 4. Oh yeah, he’s married too and she’s okay. Don’t tell her I said that, it will go to her head. He is also an avid gamer of all sources (online, single player, console and even pen and paper) and genres.
